The Enterprise Awards recognizes and rewards excellence among CIOs of enterprises has a broad turnover classification of - above Rs 1000 crore and below Rs 1000 crore across verticals. Each of these categories will have three awards, which will be named as Champion CIO, Gold CIO & Silver CIO.
Apart from the above mentioned awards there will be another set of 4 awards in the following categories:
Best Innovator Award: To recognize exemplary pioneers who have set foot ahead of their peers on a new technology or an application. This is given to an individual leader who has demonstrated the ability to be an early successful adopter of an innovative technology, a business process or any other solution that was innovative for your business
Best Delivery Execution Award: This award dissects deep into the implementation aspects of any project and will pick out winners based on all facets of an IT initiative ranging from time, costs, requirement adherence,
real-time problems etc.
Best Operational Excellence Award: This award is only for a CIO representing a captive BPO/KPO/IPO center or non-captive center.This award will recognize the operation excellence that they have brought in for that particular center.
Best Green IT Award: Green IT award is for those green chaperones and environment trailblazers who have made a visible difference by adopting a green-conscious IT approach. The resultant value should be sustainable, business-relevant, environmentally significant and tangible for achieving candidature here.

Questionnaire: Based on the above framework, a questionnaire has been designed which helps the CIOs to detail their IT implementations.To be a part of the nomination process, the questionnaire has to be completed by the participants. Click here for the questionnaire.
The questionnaire is divided in Part 1 comprising of general information
Part 2 comprising of 2 sections - Section A & Section B
Part 2- Sec A is assigned 200 Points and Section B is assigned 100 points per category
Selection Method: For Champion CIO of the Year, Gold and Silver
1. Companies participating for the Champion category awards will be considered on the basis of Information provided in Section A & B of Part 2
Section A will help Jury to identify CIOs who have shown Leadership skills, IT Vision & Mission for the organisation, strategic deployment of technology and how this technology has oriented towards Internal and External customers and the business benefits & value it has brought to the organisation.
For the first time, CyberMedia has partnered with KPMG, who will help CyberMedia team in process and validation.
Senior CIOL Edit team will shortlist the questionnaires on the said parameters.
The seven member Jury will make their assessment based on the questionnaires short-listed by CIOL Research Team & KPMG.
Jury will discuss and award points on a maximum of 500 . During this finalization, the jury may call the CIO to check the facts/to get the more information on the IT project that he has submitted for the awards.
Selection method for Individual Awards
Section B will provide details about the Individual awards.
Information under the Innovator award will help CIO in presenting his project and talk about the Innovative methods that has been used to achieve the objectives.
Best Delivery Execution category will recognise the project management skills of the CIO and talks about how a particular project has been implemented and commissioned for usage.
Best Green IT award is for a CIO who has used eco friendly methods to reduce the carbon foortprint in his organisation.
For the individual awards the participants in the below and above Rs 1000-crore categories will be clubbed.
Five companies will be short listed under each one of the categories.
NOTE:
No CIO will win two awards. The moment a CIO wins an award, he gets disqualified from participating in the remaining awards.
