Gemini PAT grows 54 p.c. YoY
Total income grew 28 percent to Rs 162.14 crores in FY'07

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Chennai-based networking solutions provider Gemini Communication Ltd (GCL) has posted profit after tax of Rs 18.08 crore for the financial year ended March 31, 2007, up 54 percent compared to Rs 11.74 crore posted in the previous year.
The company also registered an EPS of Rs 20.62 for FY'07 as against EPS of Rs 13.40 in the previous year.
The total income grew 28 per cent to Rs 162.14 crore for FY'07 from Rs 126.51 crore posted a year ago.
Gemini posted PAT of Rs 7.66 crore for the fourth quarter ending 31 March 2007 as against Rs 5.02 crore for the corresponding quarter in the previous fiscal.
Vijay Kumar, managing director, Gemini Communication Ltd, said, “We have recorded substantial growth for the year. With orders already in hand to the tune of over Rs 175 crore we at Gemini expect to grow at 50 per cent levels in the coming year too. Our RFID and Point Red businesses should contribute additional to this revenue.”
