What areas saw significant investments in terns of technology at your enterprise?

The major areas were Data Center consolidation and Disaster Recovery System setup. MPLS connectivity for domestic as well as overseas locations, Standardization of Video Conferencing system with Life Size equipments, and IT Security and backup solution at end user level.

Anything to take forward your ERP foundations?

Yes, we also did hardware upgrade of SAP landscape, SAP version upgrade/re implementation and roll-out at new locations apart from creation of Business Intelligence level and creation of virtualized environment.

Any major changes that had implications of value or scale?

We took up revamp of Wide Area connectivity (from point to point connectivity to MPLS), Data Center Consolidation (Primary and DR site), SAP infra from SUN Solaris to HP UX platform and virtualization of Servers

How does this status stand as a harbinger for future plans?

Our strategy for the coming future revolves around strategic outsourcing of IT, creation of Enterprise Wide PMO (ePMO), shared Services for (AR, AP, Proc, HR) and supply chain and Inventory optimization

Is there any recent technology incarnation that really gets your interest?

If I were to chose that I would say Cloud Computing and data leak protection.
