SecMsg enables companies to send SMS messages which can be digitally signed/acknowledged by the recipient as well as allows direct peer- to- peer confidential messaging. The company claimed that eMudhra SecMsg is already implemented by one large Public Sector Bank for delivery of Internet Banking passwords to their customers. A few other banks are also looking at using this for delivery of ATM PIN, One Time Password delivery and as also a two factor authentication process.
