EMC World 2009 to kick off on May 18

BANGALORE, INDIA: Information infrastructure solutions company EMC Corporation will kick off its annual educational conference EMC World 2009 on May 18.

The conference, which will be on till May 21, will be attended by IT administrators, partners, technologists, analysts and journalists from around the world. EMC World this year will focus on innovative ways to save money, maximize resources, achieve new IT service-delivery models, and better align IT infrastructure with business requirements.

To get underway in Orlando in the US, the event is being tipped to be a comprehensive educational forum that would provide participants with access to learn, challenge, explore and connect experts from EMC and over 100 partners, who will be discussing and demonstrating the technologies and strategies that help customers get the maximum value from their information and their information infrastructures.

According to an EMC official, the conference will bring together experts, partners and IT professionals, with unique perspectives on the most innovative approaches to information management across a range of industries and organizations that consider information to be of the most valuable business assets.

It will cover issues in information management today, from storage and resource management, to security, content management and virtualization.
