element14 expands passives portfolio in Asia-Pacific with Bourns, Epcos and Vishay

BANGALORE, INDIA: element14 has expanded its portfolio of the most essential high-performance resistors, inductors and potentiometers from leading global suppliers Bourns, Epcos and Vishay.

The new range of over 22,000 passive products for use in electronics manufacturing and design, includes 9,000 full-reel passives compatible for use with modern tape-fed placement units. Contract manufacturers will benefit from the operational and cost efficiencies using these products in full reels.

element14 also offers over 52,000 products with free of charge re-reeling service allowing customers the flexibility of deciding what quantity they would like on each reel. This is available for surface mount resistors, capacitors, inductors, transistors, trimmers, diodes and ICs.

Electrolytic capacitors from Epcos are available for use in professional and uninterruptible power supplies, and frequency converters. The Vishay CRCW series of thick film resistors are ideal for use in automotive and other high power circuits.

Bourns' new ranges of power inductors, resistors, potentiometers and trimmers include the SRN series of power inductors suited for DC/DC converters, notebook computers and LCD displays. Its PWR 163 series of power resistors, smaller than a D2PAK package, are ideal for applications in power supplies, motor drives and rectifiers.

In addition, new to the portfolio are the X7R dielectric ‘temperature stable' ceramics from AVX, Panasonic's FK, FC and FM series of aluminum electrolytic capacitors in a wide range of sizes and specifications, and the CPF series ofthin film precision resistors from TE Connectivity suitable for communications, instrumentation and industrial control, medical, and power supplies where accuracy and stability are essential.
