"Android today runs on 80 per cent of phones and growing number of tablets. Yet there are few Electronic Flight Bags that meet expectations of pilots. We are happy to introduce a comprehensive, high-performance and affordable solution for this problem," said Sanjay Kumar, Founder and CEO of AvNav.

"AvNav EFB takes full advantage of multi-threaded, multi-tasking environment of Android and has some of the fastest rendering and highest quality maps on Android. Best of all, it is very easy to use inspite of all its power. We looked at prices too and we are very pleased to announce our partnership with the open source community on Github to bring Geo-referenced approach plates and airport diagrams at no additional cost to our users."

At the show, pilots are taking advantage of AvNav's AirVentures and the price includes Geo-referenced Approach plates and Airport diagrams and daily updated fuel prices, the company added.
