Eduquity kicks off Hyderabad operations

HYDERABAD: Bangalore based Eduquity career Technologies Pvt Ltd, a HR assessment company, has started its Hyderabad competence center. "Hyderabad is one of the major locations when it comes to ITES activity and since our core focus is into ITES, we decided to have our presence over here," said, R Dhirendra, CEO of the company.

"The applications of our services are relevant to various requirements of selection, self-development, organizational change and development eventually improving productivity for our clients. As of now we have 11 Indian ITES companies as our clients like ICICI One Source, MSIT, Bharti and AP government," he added.

At the 5,000 sq. ft Hyderabad facility more than 200 people can be accessed in one day and the company is planning to expand it to more than 400 people per day as per the requirement of the market. "In Hyderabad we are talking to some big ITES companies and we hope to provide them with services. We have invested more than Rs 25 lakh for setting up this center and after this we are planning to go for other major cities within AP,” he added.

The competency model is designed to facilitate the process of assessing candidates who possess the required competencies to optimally meet the role requirements. This assessment facilitates evaluation of individuals based on broader concept of ability, skills and learning. The company is also looking forward to launch an individual assessment course for individuals and it would be launched soon.

"Usually it requires about two hours of time to assess a candidate and it involves the assessment of the individual’s repertoire of abilities, skills in communicating with others and knowledge as it is applied to day-to-day and culturally diverse contexts," he explained.
