BANGALORE, INDIA: Learning could have been much more fun and effective if a teacher could have really grabbed a students's attention for 45mins in the classroom. But is that really possible?

With a new era taking over which is going virtual, mobile, education system  is also evidently moving along with the instantaneous and on the go technologies.

Education startups have been coming up in a spree and engaging students, professionals in diverse ways. Sanjay Purohit, founder CEO, iProf India, says that today majority of the consumption is taking place on mobiles which is changing the entire scenario of education.

"Being one of the content aggregators, we allow multiple courses in one platform. Free content is available and our prices start from Rs.10. If one does not have connectivity, the content is many times shipped through a pendrive or SD card.

"We are shipping more than more than SD cards and pendrives to tier II and tier III cities everyday. There is  tremendous demand from these regions for offline consumption."

Sanjay Purohit adds that with such platforms, a teacher can save more than 35pc of their time by using assessment automation engine. Secondly, parents can check on their children's performance anytime through detailed reports and analytics.
