PCQuest Enterprise Solutions Showcase drew buyers with IT budgets of Rs. 5,296 Crores
 

The PCQuest Enterprise Solutions Showcase was the first event of its kind that focused on showcasing IT solutions in action. The delegates were given demonstrations of IT solutions by various vendors.

The event drew more than 1500 enterprise decision makers from key industry verticals such as BFSI, Govt, manufacturing, BPO etc. 64% of these were senior and top management officials.

This audience powered an IT budget of 5,296 crores*. The event took place in Mumbai and Delhi, on the 19-20th September and 28-29th September respectively.

Microsoft, Reliance Infocomm, APW President, Wipro Infotech, CMS, Zenith, Fortinet, Lenovo, GE and Netgear showcased their state of the art technology solutions.

The solutions included Business function analyzers, remote infrastructure management, floor standing server racks and cooling solutions for Data centers, anti-virus firewall appliance, document management, security, datacard solutions, personal computing solutions, printing & labeling solutions, networking products & solutions, enterprise board room solutions and ERP & CRM solutions. Both the marketing and technical experts were present from the vendor side, to answer specific queries of the delegates.

At the Mumbai showcase, held at the Grand Hyatt, senior management and decision makers from leading banks including Bank of Baroda, Yes Bank, Bank of India, State Bank of India, Deutsche Bank, ICICI made their presence felt.

At Delhi, key government officials from NIC, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, Ministry of External Affairs, Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Environment & Forests were present, indicative of the strong e- governance initiative interest.

Mr. DN Nagpal, Assistant Director, Central Electricity Authority quoted the event as," excellent." Mr. K Ravi Kumar, Senior Manager, Airport Authority of India mentioned "frequent programmes such as these were needed for them to get updates for technology upgradation." On a scale of 1 to 5, attendees gave an average satisfaction rating of 4.07 to the Enterprise Solutions Showcase.

The event was concluded with the PCQuest Best IT Implementation Awards function for 2006, honoring the best IT implementations in India.
