EDGE Memory announces 7mm EDGE revolution SSD

This is the first of several Made in the USA Brand certified SSDs that EDGE plans to release in 2014 as part of an initiative to support U.S. made products. The EDGE Revolution SSD is made in the U.S.A. and TAA compliant, making it one of the first of its kind in the market today. This high-performi ng SSD i s the ideal upgrade solution for country of origin regulated business segments, as well as any corporation or user that is committed to supporting U.S. manufacturing.

EDGE Revolution SSDs are a first-class storage upgrade for notebooks and desktops as well as workstations and servers. Driven by a premium SandForce controller, the Revolution SSD achieves ultra-fast read and write speeds. Performance gains associated with system start up, data access, application loading, and backups are immediately realized upon installation. Utilizing high-performance Synchronous NAND flash, Revolution SSDs do not contain moving parts, making them a more durable storage solution than a spinning disk HDD. Additionally, Revolution SSDs consume less power per transaction than HDDs, resulting in a desirable blend of performance and efficiency.
