Rajinder Gandotra, co-founder and CEO, Avekshaa Technologies shares his insights on how as a start-up they evolved and crossed the hurdles and how a new paradigm of technology is taking over.

CIOL: What are the hurdles that you faced as a startup?

Rajinder Gandotra: The key issue was to overcome that we are no longer limited by roles and responsibilities like an employee and had to go all out as a multitasker. It was an arduous journey initially especially when we knew we have left our comfort zones and have none but ourselves to lean on to for support.

The major hurdle and biggest challenge on the business front was to gain the trust of clients and the mind set of CIOs, CMOs, CTO nor IT managers that we can provide holistic and integrated solution.

Indeed, like any other start-up we did make errors during our early days but we were swift and sharp enough to come up with contingency measures to address on a regular basis. The existing clients were the strength for us as the word of mouth referral on the P-A-S-S platform led solutions and the USP it has for the sector. With a strong front line experienced workforce who are specialized in IT sales & marketing, We were able to reflect our credence by creating result oriented performance solutions for our clients in the End to End Project Solutions.

RG: The e-commerce and the BFSI sector are the two sectors that are in line with the trend and demand to adopt to the technological shift. These two sectors are hyper targeting their products precisely to the audience needs and using technology effectively to tap customers across multi-channel.
