E2-Labs to open centre in Dubai

HYDERABAD: Hyderabad-based security company E2-Labs is set to open its centre in Dubai in collaboration with Infostart. The company, which runs Asia’s first school of ethical hacking, would launch itself in the Middle-East location in December.

``Ours is a solution-centric company. We are having a diversified operation. Having a centre in Dubai is going to be significant for us in our expansion plans,’’ said Zaki Qureshey, founder and CEO of E2-Labs.

E2-Labs is also looking at bagging some contracts from government in UAE. Meanwhile the company is also loooking at opening its cenre in London next year.

The London operation would also be a collaboration. London-based iTrust Security would team up with E2-Labs to set up the centre. E2-Labs has a four-year-old relationship with iTrust Security. ``It’s already in the process. By next year would be able to open our centre there,’’ revealed Qureshey.

To raise its financial condition, E2-Labs is looking at a venture funding of $ 3-4 million. After the Red Herring rating, a lot of venture Venture Capitalists had approached E-2 Labs. ``We didn’t pursue it then. First we wanted ourself to be known for our credibility,’’ said Qureshey.

Red Herring had rated E2-Labs as one of the 100 top companies in Asia.

E2-Labs started its operation in 2001.The company is also looking at expanding in other middle-east countries like Jordan, Iran and Saudi Arabia.
