e-district services for Delhi residents

NEW DELHI, INDIA: The Delhi government is set to launch the e-district portal in pilot mode in 13 sub-divisions across 11 districts. Residents will now be able to apply for and download a digitally signed certificate online. A mobile application for e-district is underway and expected to be available soon.

Citizens of Delhi will now be able to apply for and download a digitally signed certificate online. Each citizen will be assigned a unique ID through which he/she can get authenticated certificates for marriage, birth, death, SC/ST and OBC, nationality, domicile, handicap, income, solvency , lal dora and surviving member.

After the initial feedback about users’ experience, the portal will be launched citywide and the manual system will also continue alongside. For now, citizens can register and access the system through their Aadhaar ID.
