Which are the areas in the retail segment you will be targeting your product?
How do you see the India's retail market?

We are targeting both the retail and the hospitality market for our product.

In the retail segment, we are targeting the food and groceries, Jewellery and

fashion.

India has a huge retail market, but is at a nascent stage. India is a hub of
shopping malls, dozens of retail chains are available here. The retail industry

is one of the most dynamic and high growth sectors in the country today.

According to available data there are around 12 million retail stores across the

country, of which two million is only organised. So we are ballistic about the

growth in India and the figures of the retail market provides the scope for

growth. The annual retail sales are estimated at $ 394 billion.

What is your go to market strategy? What are your plans to reach the smaller
cities apart from the metros?

Our strategy is 100 per cent channel partner business. We follow the channel
based business module. Currently, we have 10 partners across the country

focusing on the retail market. These partners have their presence in the two and

three tier cities, which will help us to tap the regional retail market.

The LS Retail solution, which you have launched, would it be able to meet the
requirements of the Indian retail market? How would you differentiate your

product from your competitors?

We are here to plug in the proven international processes in the retail market.
We will localize the product to meet the unique requirements of the Indian

market. LS Retail is customised and competitive software that will enable

corporates to be more innovative, productive and collaborative along with

providing them the edge to seize market opportunities quicker at lesser cost.

Built on Microsoft dynamic platform, the software ensures reliability and
insurance against future technology obsolescence. This is the first integrated

solution in the market designed to suite the retail market needs. The

scalability of the solution is unique and its user friendly due to the solution

based on Microsoft Technology.

What are your targets for this financial year?

We have launched our operations in India two months ago. We are planning to rope
in 1000 retail stores within this financial year. We have recently signed an

agreement with 100 retail shops for offering our solution. The food and

groceries, jewellery, fashion and hospitality contributes 88 per cent in the

retail market, so we are optimistic to achieve our target.

Are you looking at expanding your partner base?

In the hospitality sector we are planning to increase the partner base within a
short time. Currently it is under process as we are in talks with Microsoft

Dynamic partners. We have identified four partners to focus on the hospitality

sector, which includes hotel and fine dining.
