DUBAI: Newgen Software, a provider of Business Process Management (BPM) and Enterprise Content Management (ECM), on Monday announced the implementation of its Omni Output Management System (02MS) at Dubai Bank, a Sharia’a-compliant bank in the Middle East. This implementation will help in managing cross channel communications between the bank and its customers, said a press release.

The e-statement solution is a complete Output Management System that generates electronic statements at par with their physical equivalent. The O2MS solution streamlines and standardizes the entire process of statement creation and publishing of variable data for distribution, Newgen claimed.

The Newgen solution enables the bank to send statements through electronic channels, enforce the brand guidelines, integrate with internet banking and customer relationship management solution, and produce a single consolidated statement for multiple products.

The solutions also helps to reduce manpower and overhead costs, provides an effective channel for targeted marketing and cross selling, reduces the turn-around time, and enhances customer convenience and satisfaction.

Faizal Eledath, chief information officer, Dubai Bank, said, “Through the e-statement initiative, Dubai Bank now provides our customers with a consolidated statement which reflects all account relationships in a convenient, secure and timely manner. This initiative is also in line with our drive to be less paper dependent and more eco-friendly.”

Diwakar Nigam, MD, Newgen Software, said, “We are proud to be associated with Dubai Bank, a leading banking and financial institution. With this implementation, Newgen has further consolidated its position in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) banking space.”
