CHENNAI: DSQ Software Company director Dinesh Dalmia has moved Chennai courts for bail in multiple cases, sources said.

Dalmia, accused by the CBI of having misappropriated the sale proceeds of these shares amounting Rs 594.88 crore and diverted the money to his front companies and entities without payment of sale considerations, has moved the courts in Chennai for securing bail for cases that totals Rs 595 crore.

The DSQ director flew to Chennai from Kolkata on Sunday evening, and was produced before the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court at Egmore this morning and he later went to the Economic Offences Court, after which he drove in his personal car to the Metropolitan Magistrate Court in Saidapet, in Chennai.
