LOS ALTOS, USA: DSP Group, ProSyst, a leading provider of OSGi and open standards-based IoT middleware for Smart Home, Smart Energy and other vertical markets, and Rockethome, a leading provider of home energy management and end-to-end smart home solutions in Europe, announced that the three companies have further enhanced and strengthened their ongoing collaboration.

The partners will integrate Rockethome's standard Smart Home Plug and Play solution with the existing jointly-developed solution comprising DSP Group's ULE solution for home automation and control and ProSyst's mBS OSGi technology.

The new cloud and OSGi-based Internet of Things (IoT) solution will boast unprecedented reach, providing an all-around-solution for home automation and security from node to cloud and reducing overall time-to-market for operators and service providers.

The jointly-developed solution combines DSP Group's dedicated ULE DHX91 SoC and ULE stack - which can be integrated into multiple types of battery-operated nodes, such as smoke and motion detectors, as well as power devices like AC sockets - and DSP Group's DCX81 SoC on the gateway/concentrator, which provides ULE and DECT telephony stacks.

ProSyst's mBS OSGi technology is integrated in the gateway, providing local management and easy connectivity to the service provider, and Rockethome's cloud management solution provides a sophisticated yet straightforward user interface with in-house devices via a user-friendly web portal or smartphone application.
