Dotfuscator for .NET developers

LOS ANGELES, USA: PreEmptive Solutions, provider of application protection and monitoring solutions for the .NET and Java platforms, today announced the immediate availability of Dotfuscator Micro Developer Edition (MDE).

This new version of Dotfuscator provides individual .NET developers with baseline application protection, monitoring and management functionality in one high quality, integrated low-cost solution with reliable support and timely upgrades.

“Our Dotfuscator CE users told us that they wanted simpler integration of CE into their build processes and affordable access to support and upgrades. So we created MDE,” said Gabriel Torok, CEO of PreEmptive Solutions.

An MDE subscription includes:

* Ability to integrate Dotfuscator MDE through a command line interface and MSBuild

* Integration with Microsoft Visual Studio

* Regular product updates

* VS2010 CE features available today

“We also extended MDE to include features slated for Visual Studio 2010, but that are not yet commercially available anywhere else. We are seeing a huge demand to get up to speed on the powerful injection and instrumentation capabilities being introduced in Visual Studio 2010,” added Torok.
