Donald Trump, drink the tea

Donald Trump's personality is flummoxing which is causing him only problems, if not solutions. David Cameron, the British Prime Minister, also signified Donald Trump as "divisive-stupid-wrong". On the other hand, all the tech leaders submitted an open letter against Donald Trump, denouncing him as “a disaster for innovation.”

In the midst of all this, a Kolkata-based company, Te-A-Me has sent a huge package for presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump containing 6,000 bags of green tea in an attempt to “purify” his soul, which is excessively going viral on social media. The consignment was delivered to the Trump Towers in New York on Tuesday, by executives.

The company expects that the tea will last for four years, even if trump drinks the green tea, thrice a day. The video starts with the expression "you came all the way from India to do what?"

The marketing campaign created by the company came with a witty video message addressed to Trump. “Donald Trump has the whole world worried. Mexicans, Muslims, Jews, blacks, women, immigrants, gays, Democrats, even Republicans. We can’t stop him, but maybe we can change him,” the video said.

The video went on stating, “Dear Mr. Trump, namaste from India, we are sending you lots and lots of natural green tea. It fights against harmful free radicals. It helps purify mind and body and regain a healthy balance. It is also proven to make people smarter. Please, Mr. Trump, drink the tea. For your sake, for America’s sake, for the world’s sake.”

Sumit Shah, executive director at TE-A-ME said, “We aren’t doing any sort of marketing gimmick with the attempt. In fact, we do not even sell in the US. Our focus is on markets such as Europe, West Africa, India, and Russia. All we are doing with this campaign is to take a Gandhian and polite approach to urge Trump to detox a little and think clearly.”

However, Trump campaign is yet to respond to the gag, and definitely it will be interesting to see if the candidate will take the bait. Actually, Trump has his own brand of Trump Tea, described as a "premier collection of gourmet teas that embodies the luxury and sophistication synonymous with the Trump name."
