DOCOMO's phone gives 500 mins of free calls

MUMBAI, INDIA: This can be called double bonanza: Low-priced handset with free talk time. Making it possible is Tata DOCOMO, the unified telecom brand of Tata Teleservices Limited (TTL), which has launched a handset bundled offer, that aptly translates into 500 minutes of free calls for its new CDMA customers.

Before you start rejoicing, let us tell you that the offer is available only in Mumbai.

Under this offer, customers can buy Huawei C2835 color FM handset at Rs 1099 along with which they will get 500 minutes of free local calling. 

Commenting on the offer, Anjan Patole, chief operating officer, Mumbai Circle, Tata Teleservices Limited said, “Launch of this handset is an extension of our commitment to offer affordability to our customers. Now we have one more handset which comes bundled with the benefit of free 500 minutes of local talk-time keeping the differentiated usage patterns of our customers in mind."

Free calling value will be credited as 15,000 seconds per month for the next two months. Validity for free seconds will be 30 days from the day of credit.
