DMart Online: Self Pick-Up or Home Delivery Available in Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru and Hyderabad

Avenue Supermarkets or Dmart is one of the largest supermarket stores in India. It is very famous for selling low on budget and high on choices products ranging from kitchen deliverables to electronics and furniture decor. During the first wave of coronavirus and the subsequent lockdown, the company offered to deliver essential commodities at the doorstep of buyers via its app.

Earlier, the company delivered to 59 cities through its app on Android and iOS. Although the apps are still functional, Dmart is only delivering in 5 cities - Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru and Hyderabad - during the second wave of the pandemic. Not just home delivery, you can also order online and then schedule a pick-up at a Dmart store.

What you can do?

1) Self Pick Up: Order online from the app. Then pick up your order from a DMart Ready Pick Up point nearest to you. For this, there is no delivery charge for collecting your order from a DMart Ready Pick Up point.

2) Home Delivery: Place your order online and get it delivered to your home at a convenient date & time of your choice. You will be charged a nominal delivery fee.

The self pick-up option is delivery free. The home delivery option also has a very nominal fee. It is Rs 49 or 3% whichever is higher. The minimum cart value is Rs 1000.

How to check if Dmart delivers in your area?

• You can check the serviceability from the website or the App.

• Click on "Deliver to" on the top right side of the page.

• A pop-up message/page will open up with the text box saying "Enter your Area/ Pincode".

• Search for your pin code/delivery location. You will see a list of all areas serviceable.

• If your area is not serviceable, you will see a message on the screen.

You cannot place an order on Dmart via its customer care. Only use the Android or iOS App or the website.
