Dipankar Mukhopaddya joins Netpro Tech

BANGALORE: Netpro Technologies has announced the appointment of Dipankar Mukhopaddhya as CTO.

Based in Pune, Mukhopaddhya will spearhead the growth process of the IT company. His earliest association with Pune was in the 1980s with Datapro, where he was instrumental in developing the Systems Software for platform migration from IBM to Digital Systems.

He was also instrumental in developing a language compiler BASE 11 besides other high level software tools. His passion for training was instrumental in creating the Datapro training division.

With a brilliant academic background, Mukhopaddhya has also had a two years plus stint at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, as a software analyst.

Earlier he was working with Sterlite Foundation, Mumbai, as chief executive officer, leading new initiatives in IT education, women empowerment and tribal livelihood programs throughout India. He has been a Consultant with Cytel Corporation, leading the software development team to design and develop XLMiner.

Mukhopaddhya has also spent over a decade at Boston Education and Software Technologies Ltd, initially as director of the company, and later was promoted to the position of managing director.
