DIC-Kerala CM meet revives Smart City hopes

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A two-member Dubai Internet City (DIC) team today called on chief minister V S Achuthananthan here to discuss the Smart City project at Kakkanad in Kochi.

The chief minister told reporters after the meeting that M A Yusuf Ali, a Dubai-based Malayalee businessman who helped resolve the deadlock between the government and the DIC was also with the team.

According to reports, talks on the proposed Smart City project have reached final stages with today's development.
