Dell unveils stylish laptops for GenY

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Dell, one of the leaders in IT products and solutions, has unveiled the new Inspiron R laptop line- Inspiron 14 R, 15 R and Inspiron R Special Edition.

The company is also set to launch Inspiron Z series powered by Intel 3G Ivy Bridge processor in July. The new series sports distinctive designs and curved edges.

The computing heavyweight, with new fashionable, full-fledged laptops has streamlined its segmented approach. Dell has also collaborated with Waves to deliver rich audio experience with MaxxAudio technology.

The Windows 8 professional version upgrade, the company said, would be available for Rs.699 across the product line. With Inspiron becoming largest selling brand in India, the corporate and education sectors have become the major buyers today.

Dell India executive director and general manager Mahesh Bhalla said that they provide refreshingly different experience to the fast growing customer base to facilitate their lifestyle with advanced technology.

"With a strong consumer-centric strategy, we create products with customers in mind and great experiences. These laptops are geared to encourage youth to utilize their potential  with the adoption of technology," Bhalla added.

The new Inspiron R Special Edition laptops feature sleek and durable anodized aluminum exterior in Stealth Black, full HD display, including Blu-disc options. It provides rich multimedia and graphics experience.

Intel South Asia marketing director Sandeep Aurora said that the new 3G Core processors offer increased media and graphics experience and long battery life. Dell believes that its new trend and stylish Inspiron 14z Ultrabook will be a hot cake for young professionals.

The company has also come up with round-the-clock phone, chat and email support for all consumer notebooks, laptops and desktops across brands. This support, Dell said, would be comprehensive and covers software and hardware both.
