BANGALORE, INDIA: Dell India has announced its latest Android tablets – the Dell Venue 7 and Dell Venue 8 tablets equipped with voice calling feature as well as 3G.

“Dell is focusing strongly on the tablet segment in India. With voice enablement, we are confident of capturing a sizable part of the highly segmented tablet market. The addition of voice calling comes as a result of customer feedback that highlighted how increasingly consumers feel the need to converge their mobile technology needs into a single device. The new Dell Venue Android tablets deliver a solid performance in a sleek design with all-day-long productivity with a 4550 mAh (17.29 WHr) battery and the dual-core Intel Atom Processor, Android 4.4, KitKat OS, HD display and premium audio.

Dell is offering a complete portfolio of accessories, software and services recommended specifically for your Dell Venue Android tablets. Regardless of the user’s location, the Dell Venue Tablets display the power and adaptability to switch seamlessly between work and play.

Dell Venue 8 accessories have been developed to keep users productive throughout the day. This includes the Dell Bluetooth Folio Keyboard and Dell Venue Cradle for focused computing on a compact device. The Dell Venue Cradle uses inductive charging to wirelessly charge the Dell Venue 8 allowing users to simply place the tablet on the cradle and continue to use it, while it charges.

Accidental Damage Service which is offered on all Dell Venue tablets and protects users’ devices against liquid spills, drops, power surges and screen cracks. This service includes repair and if required, whole unit replacement.

You can also access your files and data anywhere with PocketCloud and 20GB of free Dropbox storage for one year. The new tablets come equipped with a number of apps including those for note taking, cloud printing, document retrieval etc.

The new Dell Venue 7 and Venue 8 voice enabled tablet is priced at INR 14,999 and  INR 18,999.
