Dell India leads x86 server market with 39.3 percent unit share in Q2CY15

Dell India x86 server shipments grew by over 200 percent QoQ (Q22015 vs Q12015) and YoY (Q22015 vs Q22014)

MUMBAI, INDIA: Dell India has announced that it was the No 1 x86 server vendor in terms of units shipments in Q2CY2015 based on IDC Asia/Pacific Quarterly x86 Server Tracker, Q2 2015 August 2015 release.

Dell India garnered 39.3 percent of market share in terms of unit shipment in Q2CY2015, five percentage points higher than the #2 ranked in the market, the company said in a press release.

Dell India has consistently been among the top 2 vendors as per the IDC x86 Server tracker gathering interest from customers in the professional services, BFSI, e-commerce and manufacturing sectors.

Dell’s consistent focus on developing industry-leading products across the data center, along with an emphasis on building its market presence across India through a robust channel-led, distribution-led and direct GTM strategy has contributed to the company’s success.
