Dell extends public cloud offering to Europe

TEXAS, USA: Dell is expanding its Dell Cloud, with VMware vCloud datacentre services into Canada and Europe, and offering an introductory trial offer.

The offer, which is currently available in the US and Canada for $999, provides organizations of all sizes and industries an easy way to experience Dell's hybrid and public cloud offerings, including full security, support and deployment from Dell Services.

Dell Cloud with VMware vCloud Datacenter Service is an infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) hosted in Dell data centre. It can provide software, hardware and services allowing VMware customers to transition existing VMware virtualized workloads to the cloud and manage them using their existing VMware cloud infrastructure.

It is built using a common management platform based on open, industry cloud standards. Dell Cloud with VMware vCloud Datacenter Service is backed by Dell ProSupport.
