Delivering innovative VNI, PLUMgrid and Macnica

SUNNYVALE, USA: PLUMgrid deals in Virtual Network Infrastructure (VNI), and has announced its partnership with Macnica Networks. Macnica Networks is a value-added distributor of network appliances, as well as IT software and hardware solutions in Japan. The distrubution agreement between the two companies widens the reach of the PLUMgrid platform in the network virtualization market.

A unique VNI solution, the PLUMgrid platform allows businesses to design and create logical network topologies called Virtual Domains in virtual environments. These Virtual Domains are based on PLUMgrid's IO Visor technology, and act as an application container that manages network resources to ensure connectivity and security for cloud applications, as they are created on-demand. Designed for enterprises and service providers building private and public cloud data centers, the PLUMgrid Platform makes isolation and partitioning of resources simple with a complete set of fully distributed network functions.
