MINNEAPOLIS, USA: Ceridian announces that Dayforce Human Capital Management has been adopted by regional grocers for what it calls- its ease-of-use, real time capability and return-on-investment. Leading grocers such PAQ Inc, Sendik's Food Market and Super King Markets are using Dayforce HCM, it added.

As further explained by the company: Grocery operations become more streamlined and strategic due to greater efficiency and insight from real-time information with a cloud-based, single application like Dayforce provides.

"Dayforce Human Capital Management gives us valuable insight into the true cost of our scheduled labor, before those costs are incurred," says Debbie Benning, CFO for Sendik's Food Market. "With real-time labor data and visibility into potential over and under staffing, we're able to make sure we have the right people scheduled in the right jobs at the right time, resulting in greater control over costs. Plus, the application's lack of interfaces means that we only use one system, one record of information at all times so information is consistent, accurate and the integrity of the data is never an issue."

"Today's grocers encounter complex pay rules and must have an efficient way of managing ACA compliance requirements," says Howard Tarnoff, senior vice president of Customer Success, Ceridian. "With Dayforce HCM operating on one rules engine and one database for Payroll, Workforce Management, Benefits, and Human Resources, grocers can meet the provisions of the ACA appropriately and immediately, based on hours worked in real-time."
