CHENNAI, INDIA:  Chennai-based Dax Networks has decided to tap into the SMB market. "Currently, we are aggressively focusing on the SMB market across India, which is growing at a 50 percent CAGR. We plan to tap SMBs through our extensive network of authorized Dax solution providers (ADSP)," said Sudha Jagadish, COO, Dax Networks.

The ADSPs are Dax Network's selected certified partners, who help to reach out to mid-sized segments of the enterprise market across country. "ADSP program supports our channel thrust. These ADSPs would be concentrating more on the enterprise segment, particularly mid-sized enterprise," Sudha said. Explaining more on the ADSP concept, she added, "Dax follows an 'end-user focused marketing thrust', and our ADSPs who are supported and trained by Dax are fully geared to render network services, right from pre-sales (solution designing, POC, etc) till supply, installation and meeting demanding network uptime of customers." Presently, Dax Networks has over 200 ADSPs on board and plans to equip these partners to grow steadily.

Speaking about the key issues in networking, Sudha said that controlling access by integrating the router with dedicated anti-virus for security, minimizing the recurring cost and providing clear migration path, and most importantly the demand for bandwidth secure solutions are some of the common challenges faced by the enterprise sectors.
