Dax Networks launches 300 mbps, 3G enabled VPN router

BANGALORE, INDIA: Dax Networks launched DX-924UI-ARO, a 3G enabled VPN router with a maximum bandwidth of 300 mbps.

DX-924UI-ARO is an advanced version of previously launched DX-924U-ARO router. Priced at Rs. 21,700, the wireless router is for enterprise branch offices.

DX-924UI-ARO is integrated with four LAN 10/100 ports, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n LAN, additional 10/100 WAN port and an USB port for supporting CDMA/3G/4G/LTE (Code division multiple access/ Long-term evolution). USB dongles from multiple ISP's can be used and the drivers are in-built.

The router comes with various enterprise class routing protocols, such as L2TP (Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol), DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) server, IPSEC (Internet Protocol Security), GRE (Generic Routing Encapsulation) tunnels, NAT (Network Address Translation) and auto backup connection for 3G/4G.

DX-924UI-ARO supports the auto failover and rollback of the primary link terminated on the WAN Ethernet. DX-924UI-ARO also supports security features like embedded firewall, prevention of DoS (denial-of-service attack), packet filtering, MAC (Media Access Control) filtering, URL filtering and domain filtering.

The router also secures Wi-Fi with the WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy), WPA/WPA2 encryption standards.
