David King is new COO of Acision

BANGALORE,INDIA: Acision, a global messaging company, today announced the appointment of David King as executive vice president and chief operating officer of the company.

He would be responsible for worldwide sales and the operational functions of Acision, to ensure continued growth, said a press release.

Rory Buckley, chief executive for Acision, commented: "As Acision gains momentum in global markets I am delighted to welcome David who brings with him a wealth of international experience in some of the fastest growing markets including India, Brazil and China."

Prior to this he was associated with UTStarcom, a global supplier of IP networking equipment, where he held the role of senior vice president of International Sales, Marketing and Operations.

He even worked with Visual Wireless, a Swedish telecom software company as the chief executive officer.
