Datacraft implements TelePresence in APAC

MUMBAI, INDIA: IT solutions and services company Datacraft has been selected by a global wireless service provider to implement its first Cisco TelePresence meeting solution in Asia Pacific.

The contract covers project management and deployment of the Cisco TelePresence 3000 solution in India.

The Cisco TelePresence meeting solution combines high quality audio, high definition video and interactive technologies to create a virtual, in-person meeting experience over the network.

The service provider's strategic business unit is based in Chennai and employs more than 2000 people at its offices in Chennai and Hyderabad.

Each TelePresence endpoint includes plasma screens, microphones, cameras, high-definition codecs, and other elements necessary for a virtual meeting that supports the "same room" experience.
