Cypress names new senior VP for India

BANGALORE, INDIA: Cypress Semiconductor Corp today announced the appointment of Rajeev Mehtani as senior vice president of India operations.

In his new role, Mehtani, who has more than 23 years of experience in the industry, will be responsible for managing and growing India operations, said a press release.

Mehtani joins Cypress from NXP Semiconductors where he was the vice president and country manager for India. He previously held a wide variety of positions at NXP and Philips Semiconductors, including design engineering, corporate marketing and managing business units.
