Accelerating silicon design with multi-core expandable platforms
In the two sets of tests conducted by Intel, it was found that a server based on Intel Xeon processor 7400 series completed complex silicon design workloads up to 1.43x faster than a similarly configured server based on Xeon processor 7300 series and over 3 times faster than Xeon processor 7100 series. The test results suggest Intel Xeon 7400 series can accelerate silicon design time-to-market and help to reduce operational costs.
