CHENNAI, INDIA: Cybernet-SlashSupport (CSS), a provider of tech support, remote IMS and software testing and development, has announced the setting up of its second offshore Network Operating Center (NOC) in Chennai.
CSS will offer services like monitoring and management of servers, network elements, storage devices and databases for its customers from the new center.
The company’s two NOCs can together house close to 200 engineers.
"We expect the NOC to improve productivity for our customers," said Sridhar Kulasekharan, COO, Cybernet-SlashSupport.
CSS employs around 5000 professionals at its offshore facilities in India.
It also has a facility in the US and a redundancy center in Singapore. Earlier this year, the company set up a near shore facility in Poland, its first in Europe.
In mid 2007, CSS received funding of $25 million led by Goldman Sachs.
