CSC celebrates 10 years in India

NEW DELHI: Computer Sciences Corporation today announced that it is celebrating a decade of successful operations in India.

CSC began its India operations on September 13, 1996, in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Since then the company has opened additional development centers in Noida, Hyderabad and Chennai, and a business center in Bangalore.

“We began operations with one person; today we employ more than 6,500,” said Tom Kenyon, president and managing director of CSC’s operations in India. “CSC’s long-term business strategy, technological expertise, and, above all, dedicated, world-class workforce have fuelled this growth.

“Over the years CSC in India has established itself as a key component of CSC’s world sourcing strategy,” added Kenyon. “With substantial technical knowledge, outstanding domain expertise and strong focus on delivering real results to our customers, we provide complex and mission critical services to our global customers.”
