“We have tied up with a couple of distributors who specialize in the distribution of chaises and power supplies and are present in 32 locations across the country. In order to facilitate the operations and increase the reach, we have planned to recruit exclusive manpower to sell Cooler Master products across these regions,” informed Crane Chen, Country Manager, Cooler Master India.

He also informed that within the first few months of the launch of Cooler Master products in India, it has become the most preferred brand in cooling solutions arena. He also claimed that Cooler Master has tied up with around 200 partners within a short span of time.

“We have achieved a growth of about 150 percent in the last two quarters and as the quality consciousness among partner increases, we would grow more,” Chen claimed.

Enthused by the response received, Cooler Master has proposed to launch two new products in the market.

“We will be launching Silentpro power supplies in the 500-700Wt range that provides high efficiency remaining silent and a model called UCP in the 700-1100Wt range shortly targeting the gaming segment,” he informed.

He mentioned that the Indian power supplies industry has no safety norms and the products available in India fail to achieve any norms.

“There are a lot of safety norms that should be followed during the manufacturing of SMPS and it remains an ignored fact in the Indian industry. That is the reason 80 percent of the motherboards in India become dead very soon. Cooler Master is the only company that has power supplies with industry certifications and that remains our USP,” Chen claimed.

He shared that the company is now ready with its complete set of products that would cater to the retail segment. “We have a series of products for retail customers. Retail is one of the booming segments and we don’t want to miss the opportunities in this segment. We have planned to tie-up with partners who are focusing on the retail segment,” he shared.

Cooler Master has proposed to introduce channel programs starting from November and that would be completely packages driven.

“We don’t believe in mass training programs but our executives will directly go to partners and conduct personal educational programs for which work is already on. Primarily, we want our partners to be aware of our products as these are premium ones,” Chen informed.
