Quality education, need of the hour for India

Nasscom's recently announced initiatives for the further growth of the Indian IT industry include several areas where it would push its agenda and strategy for growth. One area that demands immediate attention is the need for providing quality education.

Nasscom and the Ministry for Human Resources should come together to create better educational institutions that would cater to the talent needs of the industry. The association should also take initiatives to create and retain researchers and professionals in the teaching profession.
