BANGALORE: Kshema Technologies recorded revenues of Rs 15.80 crore in the quarter ended 30 September 2002, indicating an increase of 26 per cent over revenues of Rs 12.51 crore for the quarter ended 30 September 2001. Net profits grew from Rs 1.83 crore in the first quarter of fiscal 2003 to Rs 3.19 crore in the second quarter of the same year, showing a growth of 20 percent.

Income grew by 20 percent to reach Rs 29.37 crore in the half year ended 30 September 2002 as compared to Rs 24.39 crore in the corresponding half year in the previous year. Net profits for the same period grew by 215 percent to end at Rs 5.02 crore for the current half year as against Rs 1.59 crore posted during the same period last year.

Kshema, in a media release, said it owes its profit margins to an effective corporate strategy that underlines better utilization of staff and keener control of costs. It attributes the company’s flexible and mature business model that ensures healthy corporate performance in the tough market situations. It added 20 new customers in the half year.
