BANGALORE: Mistral Software Private Limited has launched its complete next generation IP based enterprise telephony solution, MistPBX. The newly launched solutions are designed to provide rich features and services for enterprises and Internet Service providers over an IP Network. The MistPBX solution is a complete communication server for small to mid-sized businesses and branch offices, a release stated.

MistPBX solutions are created around Mistral's own full-featured SIP Stack to enable telephony over the IP network. It provides telephony services to users with analog phones, IP phones and software phones. Registration facilities for VoIP telephony users on a LAN, directory services database, standard features like call forward, call hold, call transfer and call waiting are also featured. Converged services like presence and instant messaging and other services that include IVR and voice mail are also included.

They also provide exciting new features like instant messaging and can be deployed with standard desktop phones as well as soft-phones. Moreover, they can be easily expanded to provide additional features."

MistPBX can be installed on existing server infrastructure. It scales easily to the customer requirement of phone extensions and provides all standard features of a traditional PBX. Mistral IP PBXs uses NMS telephony boards to deliver highly economical and scalable solutions.

The solution is available on Windows, Linux and Solaris operating environments. The choice of high performance interface cards from Natural Micro Systems is used to interconnect to the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN). The NMS interface card for the solution depends upon the line density that is required for the PSTN interconnection.
