NEW DELHI: Sonata Software Ltd has announced the expansion of its Microsoft Competence Center (MCC) at Hyderabad and that the company is planning on adding another 300 key Microsoft-skilled resources within the next few months. According to the press release, the augmented MCC will provide services such as development of vertical-frameworks on Microsoft Business Solutions (MS Axapta and MS CRM), analytics based on Business Intelligence, and solutions based on emerging technologies such as Yukon and Whidbey. Backed by the company's extensive expertise in Microsoft technologies, a wide service-portfolio and a deep industry experience, the MCC will develop high-impact business solutions, which will result in faster, effective deployment of enterprise solutions for the clients. Jnan Dash, an executive consultant to many company CEOs and serving on the boards of several Silicon Valley companies, has been appointed the CTO to give a fillip to Sonata's technology strategy. According to president and MD of Sonata Software B Ramaswamy, "The Hyderabad facility will serve as a powerhouse to fuel further our Microsoft-based initiatives. And having Dash on-board will help channelize these efforts to deliver enhanced business value to our clients."
