BANGALORE: Software and hardware design services provider, Deccanet has been acquired by Flextronics. Focussed on telecommunication, Deccanet offers products and intellectual property in the core areas of telecom and test automation. It also possess expertise in building carrier class systems with present workforce of about 300.

Founded in 1994, Deccanet develops telecom infrastructure products to OEM clients and provides design services in infrastructure and mobile handhelds to clients worldwide. With research and development, the company has been building test automation tools that help shrink the development cycle, resulting in faster time to market.
