BANGALORE: Enterprise business software and services provider SSA Global has appointed Thiru Vengadam its managing director for India.
Vengadam will be overseeing SSA Global's operations in India with direct responsibility for planning and execution of effective strategies for marketing, sales, channels, alliances, services, customer satisfaction and organizational development.
The new managing director has 18 years experience in the IT Industry. Before this appointment, Vengadam held the position of director of Enterprise Solutions Strategy for the Global Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) business of Tata Consulting Services (TCS) and was part of its senior management team.
Before joining TCS, Vengadam held a country manager position with PeopleSoft India.
Vengadam will report to Jeremy Goddard, vice president, South Asia Pacific, SSA Global.
The company has also promoted Alok Tandon, until now country manager of SSA Global India, to alliances director for South East Asia and India.
