NEW DELHI: Hitachi Data Systems, provider of application optimized storage has announced that its regional director Sudhakar Rao has received an additional appointment as national channels director. Rao joined Hitachi Data Systems in 2001 and has been looking after sales and technical components of the western region for the company. His new responsibilities include enhancing the development of new markets through a 100 percent channel-centric approach. Sudhakar has been instrumental in Hitachi Data Systems' success in India. He is highly regarded among Hitachi Data System's channel partners and enterprise customers in the region. Rao has more than nine years of experience in the storage industry and is a reservoir of industry knowledge. Before joining Hitachi Data Systems, Rao held positions at IBM and EMC.
