MUMBAI: Computer Associates has named Nancy E Cooper as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Cooper, who will report to John Swainson, CA's chief executive officer, will take charge on August 15, 2006. "Nancy has broad experience as a chief financial officer in the software industry and with public companies. She has a successful track record in developing and leading high-performance teams and brings an exemplary combination of business judgment, professional skills and integrity to CA, said Swainson Cooper, has most recently served as chief financial officer for IMS Health Incorporated, the provider of market intelligence to the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. She has also served as chief financial officer of Reciprocal, Inc., and chief financial officer of Pitney Bowes Credit Corporation, an international credit company.
