BANGALORE: Lantek Automatización S.L., a provider of CAD/CAM software for plasma, laser, waterjet and oxyfuel cutting machines announced the opening of its Product development center in Bangalore. Bangalore-based ITSMA (Interactive Technology and software media association) was involved in the decision of the company to set up the center in India.

According to Alberto Palma, Director of Lantek office in India," Lantek is witnessing rapid growth year after year and we required an advanced technology center, which would enable development and testing of innovative new tools. Bangalore fitted in the requirement well and we are grateful to ITSMA for providing us assistance right from incorporation, infrastructure set-up, HR to sourcing vendors among other things. It is due to this assistance that we have been able to move from deciding to setting up a center in such a short period of time. We hope to make the Indian center a key component of our global expansion strategy."
