CIOL:Excelsoft expands Mysore facility

BANGALORE: Excelsoft Technologies, an e-learning solutions provider, today announced the expansion of its Mysore facility to fuel its high growth plans.

The company has set up a new facility, adjacent to its current development center at Mysore, which will accommodate 200 software developers by the end of March 2007. Its current development facility houses about 300 people. Support infrastructure that includes recreational facilities is also being established, an Excelsoft statement said.

Announcing the expansion of its Mysore facility, D Sudhanva, CEO, Excelsoft, said, “Several leading Educational Publishers, Universities and Corporates world-wide have benefited from using Excelsoft’s e-learning solutions. We have been working with leading publishers such as Pearson Education in US, Wolters Kluwer in Europe, The Guardian Education in UK and many others”.

“Apart from servicing overseas customers, Excelsoft is actively engaged in supporting Indian universities in their efforts in technology enabled education. In this context, Excelsoft is already engaged with Visveswaraya Technological University (VTU) in providing its e-learning and test and assessment platforms, and e-learning courseware development services, added Sudhanva.

Excelsoft has development centers in Mysore and Hyderabad in India, a sales and support operation in the UK via its subsidiary company. It also has partners in several other countries including the UAE, Singapore, and the US.
