CIOL:MSN launches new India portal

MUMBAI: MSN India today announced the launch of the new look MSN India home page, its four new channels on the new MSN home page- lifestyle, entertainment, news and sports along with services - Windows live domains, live messenger and the new live search.

The new and improved look of the MSN India home page features a vibrant and user-friendly interface and better graphics. The desktop TV portrays images of better quality, more value added content and additional channels and intelligently integrated advertisements, an MSN statement said.

“It’s only natural that users will want a faster, easier and friendlier approach to the MSN Network and with the makeover of the MSN India home page and the channels, there will now be more exciting content and a simple user interface on offer for the consumers,” said Krishna Prasad, head of programming, MSN and Windows Live India.

MSN India also announced the launch of the Windows Live Domains. Now users can have their own domain and create an unlimited amount of free email accounts as a closed group or an open to all in the respected domain.

MSN India unveiled the new special effects advertising packages it had specially created for the new portal. The new online advertising packages feature special effects that help brands ensure their message reaches out a larger audience online. With higher quality and enhanced graphics complimented with innovative newer online advertising tools, the new MSN India portal offers advertisers a host of newer ways to promote their products.

Raj Nayak, CEO NDTV Media said, “The new MSN India portal will offer advertisers innovative and more enhanced advertising tools that would help reach out to a wider audience online. The new range of special effects advertising tools from MSN have an element of interactivity, which draws a user’s attention.”
